A Note to Therapists and other Caregivers

Hey there! As I work with many therapists and caregivers in my practice, I want to ensure we're on the same page regarding
our time together. This isn't a supervision session but a space to reflect on your life, family, and household. While your clients may
come up in conversation, as they're a part of your world, our primary focus will be you and your relationships. Consider this an opportunity
to explore what skills and strategies you might need to navigate your current situation. I'm here to provide a safe and supportive
environment for you to do that work. Remember, this time is all about you and your journey, and I'm excited to be a part of it!

Online
Session

As your therapist, I want you to know that I'm here to be an active participant in your journey. I won't just sit back and listen—I'm going to ask questions, challenge you to think deeper, and encourage you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we'll focus on your life and how you navigate the ups and downs, especially within your household. I'm open to sharing my perspective with you, and if you have a direct question, we'll work together to find an answer that resonates with you. This is a collaborative process, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Typically, our appointment is for a 50-minute Online Session, although longer sessions are available.

In-Person

Please note that my In-Person availability is limited. My wife, Ty Miller, L.Ac., and I share an office, which naturally limits the time I have office space available. As a result, I limit the number of In-Person Clients I see at my office.

Typically, our appointment is for a 50-minute In-Person Session, although longer sessions are available.

Basic Attendance Session

Please note that Basic Attendance Sessions
are available to Current Clients on a case-by-case basis
.

In Basic Attendance Sessions, we will meet together out in the world. We might take some chairs and sit under a tree while we talk, go for a walk along the creek together, or sit outside a coffee shop or in a park. We will decide together where to meet before our session. The main point is that we are still engaged in our work together but out in the world and not in an office or online.

Please note that confidentiality becomes more of a concern during a basic attendance session. If we are in a public place, please be mindful of what you share and who might overhear. If you would like more privacy, please book an Online Session or an In-Person Session Appointment.

Typically, our appointment is for a 90-minute Basic Attendance Session, although longer sessions are available.
